ABOUT US
OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1946, Bremen‑Bowdon Investment Company built a legacy of craftsmanship in the heart of Bowdon, Georgia. The company began as a maker of finely tailored men’s suits and blazers, serving respected retailers such as Nordstrom, Men’s Wearhouse, and Brooks Brothers. In 1999, as NAFTA eliminated barriers to imported tailored clothing, Bremen‑Bowdon evolved into a trusted manufacturer of military uniforms, securing its first military contract in the early 2000s.
For more than 20 years, Marlow White has relied on the skilled garment makers in Bowdon to produce our dress uniforms. That long‑standing partnership—defined by consistency, quality, and trust—led to a natural next step.
In December 2025, Marlow White Uniforms acquired the manufacturing operation, ushering in a new chapter under the name Bowdon Uniforms. Today, we are the only American uniform company with ownership of the entire process, from production to final fitting. This direct connection creates a continuous feedback loop between the fitting room and the factory, allowing us to refine every detail of our uniforms and exceed our customers' expectations. By uniting Bowdon’s proven manufacturing excellence with Marlow White’s industry‑leading retail expertise, we are better positioned than ever to serve the dress uniform market with unmatched quality, consistency, and service.
